Good afternoon! Such a fine, snowy, March day here in Michigan. Yep, snowy in March. We all thought we were done with snow, but at least its covering up the mud, right? Right? We are all so very ready for spring. Very ready. But for now, I’m happy to be indoors and working on this new blog of mine.
First, I want to let everyone know that even though this is a new blog, and a new name, it’s not a new business I have been working under the name Hope’s Creations Photography for about 5 years now and you can still find my work posted there. I flirted with all kinds of photography, but really felt myself being drawn more and more to boudoir photography. Boudoir sessions are such and amazing and empowering experience to have and to be able to give to others. Recently, I’be been feeling the need for the boudoir photography to have it’s own home. Thus Embracing Beautiful Boudoir was born.

Why Embracing Beautiful is important to me
I believe in the beauty of every woman. This is one of my favorite quotes and sums up why Embracing Beautiful is so important, so empowering.
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us most. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and famous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that people won’t feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in all of us. And when we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” -Maryanne Williamson
So, I welcome you, and invite you in for your own session.
